My name is Sasha Piankov — I’m a musician and producer based in Slovenia. I play in the psychedelic band Gnoomes, which has shaped a big part of my sound and worldview. I also run Zonned Records, a small label dedicated to releasing music we truly believe in.
Music has always been a guiding force in my life — something sacred that I’ve been lucky enough to carry with me over the years.
You might’ve heard some of my mixes on BBC6 or at the Tate Gallery, or stumbled upon my work through collaborations with bands and labels like Rocket Recordings, Magnetron Music, Duophonic, Sonic Cathedral, and others.
I figured out early on that I’m a bit of a weirdo — and only recently started to truly enjoy that.

With over a decade in sound, I’ve learned to stay open. Every mix is different — that’s why I try to tune into its frequency rather than impose my own. Whether it’s mixing or mastering, I aim to bring out the best without doing harm.
